Street Style Trends From Paris Fashion Week Spring 2020

Street style during fashion week is always one aspect that draws a significant amount of attention during the whole spectacle. From celebrities and bloggers to regular gals, street style is an everyday adaptation of what we’ve been seeing on the runways.
This year’s fashion month ended recently in Paris, so here’s a look at six of the most popular trends we’ve seen in the streets of the city of lights, thanks to Phil Oh’s photography.
The ‘80S are back
We’ve been seeing the vintage trend become huge for the past few years, so it’s no surprise we’re seeing it once again, this time with a focus on the 80s. This means vibrant colors, offbeat patterns, and washed-out denim are making an alluring comeback.
This is the big hoodie trend taken to an extreme. PFW was all about big coats, boots, and dresses. Far from hiding ourselves in clothing that’s way too many sizes bigger than supposed, this seems to create the opposite effect: a delectable focus on ourselves and the piece we’re wearing. Truly a statement.
Valentino is the new black
The fusion between streetwear and haute couture is probably the biggest, most transversal trend in fashion right now. The result is vivid, comfortable apparel full of decorations and motives: that’s probably the reason why we’ve seen a plethora of Valentino this month.
One color fits all
A set of clothes of the same color, whether simple or bold, manages to forge the idea of elegance and correctness. There is something visually pleasing about an outfit composed of a solid color, not to mention the ease at which you can style these types of outfits.
What better way to show the world you mean business than with a suit. Go for a masculine edge with structured shoulders or mix it up with print and colored suits.

Comfort is cool thanks to the athleisure trend. Sportswear is not just casual anymore as sneakers and track jackets became essential items of the hypebeast style that revolutionized the internet.
