If you’re familiar with Chanel’s late 90s and early 2000s shows or kept up with Moschino’s campaigns, then you’d probably recognize Devon Aoki. The Japanese-American model turned actress began modeling at the age of 13 and quickly became a well-known face on the runway after being scouted by Kate Moss. Aoki went on to serve as the cover star of major publications like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar and starred in advertisements for iconic brands like Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent. She even replaced Naomi Campbell as the face of Versace at the ripe age of 16.
Devon’s modeling career spans over two decades, and after her career took off, the model swapped Chanel dresses for crop tops and jeans. She went on to star in cult classic films like D.E.B.S and 2 Fast 2 Furious, where her characters’ fashionable looks would go on to be recreated for years to come.
